This looks like a task that was created by the Database Maintenance Wizard. I'm not sure why your getting the error though...

For work arounds you have a couple of options. First, there is a company that sells a replacement for SQLMAINT. Sorry, I don't remember their name. Second, you can schedule the explicit DUMP TRANSACTION command.
