Just checked on the free DB2 you mention. That would be the beta version, which of course you can get for NT also and you're not allowed to use it for purposes other than testing. So it's not really free now is it?

The idea of using Linux (or any other Unix flavor) as a file server for win32 programs is ludicrous. It's like going back to the file server days of Novell 2.x. Contemporize, man! :)
