I have not read any post that actually states that 'using' someone else's property without compensation is acceptable. But I prefer not to be one to cast stones (or pass harsh judgement) since I probably have voilated copyrights a few time myself: every time I have copy an article to send to an associate or accepted a copy of one from someone.
