I am using:

this.oExcel = createobject('Excel.Application')

To create an excel object

this.oExcel.WorkBooks.Open(FileName)

To open the spreadsheet and I am manually closing the excel spreadsheet, but not Excel entirely, this implicitly closes Excel, but gives me the illegal operation error.
