Hi, Evan, PMFJI-

Actually I think a Wiki (there are lot's out there, btw) is specifically NOT a messageboard. Certainly in it's early days the (our? :) Fox Wiki will do that a bit, but it's already settled down. It's not even *really* *just* a dynamic knowledge base, either, IMHO.

What I'm trying to keep in mind is that it originated as the way for people to collaborate on, and develop, design patterns. Now, we don't have such raw ground, but if you can approach it as a collaborative effort to develop our community's knowledge about current topics facing us...I don't know if that helps or not < s >.

Collaborative is important here. And I don't think it'll be chaotic, it's not even in it's early days, but since the community doesn't change that fast, and God knows none of us change our minds easily < bg >, I really don't think it will be.

>I am not sure I like the Wiki concept. Basically just a messageboard where you have read/write to all posted messages. Sounds like it could be a benefit but seems it would chaotic.
