the grid is a window on the set of records in the table or view; you may need to scroll the visible records in the grid (I have this problem where i want the record at the top of the grid to be the first record of the valid set of records in some maintenance code.

I believe Erik Moore posted some code in the last week or so that addressed this in another thread.
