As for your labels, I've noticed my specific codepage characters turned up wrongly and displayed their 1252 equivalents until I used CPZERO.prg and marked these .scx files as my codepage (1250). I actually have codepage=1250 in my config.fpw, and now all the new forms and classlibs are marked already, and I have no problems with that.

Just try with a copy of your form, to change the codepage of the .scx to Japanese (whichever codepage it may be), and also have a config.fpw with codepage=< japanese page number >. You may also want to Compile *.mpr as < japanese codepage >.
