Not normal, but expected.

Many MEMO fields are used in the .DBC structure - it's just a foxpro table with a different name after all.


If you make many changes to the values that FoxPro stores in the memo fields, the .DCT file gets bigger and bigger.

MAKE A BACKUP first and then Clean Up (pack) the database container.

You will find that .VCX and .VCT files balloon in size as well for similar reasons - records are marked as deleted and not reused, so the files just get biugger and bigger each time you make a change.
