I realize that you are changing it in code. I suspect that what is happening is that you are losing your PEMS because you are ripping the grid's recordsource out from under it. Are you setting its recordsource to ' ' before changing its recordsource?

Can I see some of the code please? My crystal ball seems to be on the fritz today.
