The oddest problem is happening to me when compiling exes and apps in either VFP5 or VFP6-SP3. If the directory name is longer than eight characters the program does not compile correctly (even though no errors appear until I try to run the new exe or app.) When running the exe, I receive the error "path+filename+ is not a valid Windows NT application." When running it as an app from within VFP, I get the error, "
is not an object file." The only way I could get a good exe or app compilation was to limit all directory names in the path to eight characters or less. I am running on Window Workstation NT 4.00.1381.
