It's an enhanced ERD tool that can generate schemas based on Visio Pro; I'm looking at it from the standpoint of having a tool that will generate DDL and stored procedures for several different backends, including native VFP. it's not terribly expensive (under $500 as i recall) and significantly more functional than Evergreen's EasyCASE, which I used for a number of years to reverse-engineer xBASE files as well as generate a number of different structured programming charts like DFDs in any of several forms. Evergreen's EasyER moved more into the ER marketplace and didn't support VFP well; I started using Visio to do some documentation and modelling a couple of years back, have been very pleased with it, especially since it can act as an automation server, and decided that if I wanted a new ER tool, I might as well work with one that leveraged a product I liked as a starting point!
