Is there a way to give this cursor a name when it is returned from the server? I am able to do this with SQLEXEC select statements, but it didn't work when executing the stored procedure?

Doug... I reread your message.... are you saying that passing the cursor name as the third paramater works when you send a select, but not when you execute an SP? Or, are you not using the third parameter when you use a select?
