Dear Mike,

What I've developed is an Order Processing system with a few gimiks, such as small messaging system included, for which I've included a timer, and it looks for any new messages.

Also I've included a scrolling line at the bottom of the screen which shows some important information continuously. This is also uses Timer. Interval is set as 40.

Here, I tried to stop this timers and ran the EXE on slower computers, but it is still running very slow.

And on other Pentiums loading of forms as well as running a few queries (only in some cases, where I'm creating a few temporary files and Appending data from some table) is running slow.

However I'm not able to understand, how on some machines with same configuration it is running smoothly but on others it gives a few problems.

If possible pls get me some answers to this, and Thanks for your help.
