>>>We've got a client that prints a typical Header/Detail report. If the details of one group print on two pages, their is one detail line missing. But I can not duplicate the problem at our development site. Is it possible that the printer driver could cause a difference in the print preview?

>>I've seen different print previews based on different print drivers before. I've also seen what you've described with report forms that have the detail fields set up with "print relative to bottom" and then used with the lower end printers (like a deskjet and those small epson portables in my case) that chop bottom margins harshly. >Yes, that's helpful, thank you. I've also seen quite a few threads about the default printer being stored in the frx. I don't believe they are using a low end printer. Is it possible that this could be causing a problem?
Yes, good thought. I have a deskjet at home and spent two years developing a large reporting system. I worked around the clock at that job, and often telecommuted... thus my experience with knowing all to well that deskjets can chop a bottom margin and seemingly make a line disappear. I used to have a quick and dirty function (from Hackers Guide info) that I would run against any frx I setup at home that would clean out my default printer references for me. I'd cough up the code but it was one of those gems I left behind in my wake...
