Salut Robert,

You have 2 options when opening a FPW app into VFP: functional and visual conversion. Functional will try to create a working conversion of the app. Visual will only convert the screens to forms and all code will go inside a single PRG, for you to pick up and plug it in various places.

Not that I said *will try* in the functional conversion. I was never successful in converting a FPW app in VFP without making a bunch of modifications to the converted code. In fact, it was so much work, that I gave up and rewrite the whole app from scratch. Not to mention that the forms were ugly.

Yes, VFP doesn't have the fast processor bug, but IMHO, you are better start from scratch that trying to convert your app in VFP. Your mileage may vary... :)

BTW, there is a patch available on MS site for the fast processor bug.

HTH
