>>Thanks for you response George (and Jim and Evan). I did what you suggested and it still doesn't preview the form. (Incidentally, the syntax IN is not valid in the IN WINDOW statement). I also tried an Activate window Previewform in window myformname. It activated the Previewform, but still didn't display the report.

>You must be using a version prior to 6.0. In 6.0 the IN specifier was added. The code that I posted, was copied straight from an app in production and works fine. If I recall correctly, one of the reasons that it was added was to allow SDI forms to properly be able to preview reports.

Hi George,

Yeah, you're right. I'm so used to working in VB 6 that it didn't dawn on me that the application I was modifying is in VFP 5.0. Sorry about that!

Maybe you could get me out of a jam here now. I copied the _SCREEN code from the Help system, thinking that might work. Well it didn't and now my Foxpro screen doesn't have a status bar. Is there an instruction that will reset the _Screen to it's original default settings? I've looked at the properties and can't seem to find one. Hate to think I have to deal with this screen for the rest of my life.

Thanks Again,

Barry
