I dont know why this isnt working. I copied
your snippet into a prg and it woked fine.
When I replaced the phone number with:
y = transform(Addresses.ZipCode, '99999-9999')
it returned:
12345-789
Again, the ZipCode field is C(10) with an inputmask
of '99999-9999'. I tried removing the imputmask, but
it made no difference.
So what else could be wrong here?
