There is a Hot Fix update of the VFP ODBC driver that we needed to use with Access to link tables to an MDB... I assume word is using Jet and you may have the same problem? Anyway, it's worth a try to download the new VFPODBC driver .DLL from the web page. It is newer that what you get even with SP3 installed.
