Hi Sarah.

What I generally do when I use combos in grids, is set the grid's RecordSource up as a local view and bind the grid's column to the descriptive field. If it is a data entry grid, in the valid of the combo, I replace the FK value in the grid's recordSource with the PK value of the combo's RowSource. Of cource, the bound column for the combo is then the descriptive field in its RowSource and not the key.
