I have used tools from BlackIce and WinFax Pro successfully for pumping out faxes in overnight processes.

The WinFax Pro implementation ended up being my preferred method because I didn't have to write anything for a user interface. The next morning, employees would come in and use WinFax Pro to see/manage any of the faxes.
