Hi Simon,

If everything looks alright with the table, it can be that this is caused by an invalid index file (.CDX).
To solve this one, try recreating the indexes.
If you're not able to open the table from within your program, try to open it from within Foxpro. But before doing this delete the associated CDX file.
Then try to open it in Foxpro, you'll get a message something like the CDX file couldn't be found do you want to destroy the link, answer Yes.
Then you have access to the table again. Now recreate the indexes.

Another source of the problem can be caused by a bad network, network cabling, connection, card...
This is a widely discussed issue on the UT already. I know because I'm dealing with some spooky problems like this as well.
