Situation :
We have 7.0 at our office and created a database that will hold unlimited data transactions. We currently have 102,000 transactions in this one file. The entire database backedup at our office doesn't exceed 100M.

Client Location :
The client has 6.5 and relatively the same amount of data. The database manager is saying we are using close to 1 Gig of space.

Being new to SQl 6.5 can anyone help with this situation or tell me why we are using so much space.

Do I have to shrink the database or something?

Or is there something different between 7.0 and 6.5 in the way the database holds Tx's - File size guestimates?

I'm lost?

TIA
Shawn
