Matt,
I had this when I redefined a view - I reset all the ControlSources - ran the form, and received the same error as yourself, checked with the debugger and somehow VFP was still picking up the old ControlSources ( which didn't exist ) , it only went away when I removed the controls ( combos ) and then replaced them, a PITA I know but worked for me
