Yes, I’m using 6.5 SQL with insert. The field names are less then 30 char. In fact the column is defined as firm character (60) another one is address1 character (40). If value of the fields are > 30, I get this error during execution of the stored procedure which has the insert in it. I get the error only on records that have 31 and more char in them..

Connectivity error: [Microsoft][ODBC SQL Server Driver][SQL Server]The identifier that starts with ‘A’ is too long Maximum length is 30.
