I looked at Wizstyle searchform class. It seems to be a simple field search 'find', what I need is a search for a memo field. Ex: I have a screen that displays a formula (we're a specialty chemical company) and the user types in the procedure for creating the formula. I have different options in the menu and one of them is a 'File' option. The 'File' option had a drop down menu of choices, namely, 'Copy', 'Cut', 'Paste', 'Find', 'Replace'. After converting this 2.6 application, the Copy, Cut and Paste options work fine, but the 'Find' option doesn't work. Why on earth would they change this? Jim Booth suggested I 'create a Find dialog', but I'm not sure how to do this. Such a dumb little thing is holding up a huge project.
