There was a short period of time where you could buy the PDFWriter alone. Now it's bundled with Acrobat 4.0. So you need to buy Acrobat 4.0 to have the PDFWriter. It might seem expensive at first, but I am pretty sure you'd make good use of the other features of Acrobat 4. I use it mostly as an archiving tool, to keep copies of contracts aso. But that's far from VFP...
