Why not try them all and report your findings here on UT? I'm sure that many people on UT who haven't had the time or need to experiment with them would be interested in seeing your results! Most of us are employed full-time; as a student, you should have the time, and as a part of your education, the need to investigate such details yourself. It'd provide you with good experience and expoure to the technologies, and your findings would almost certainly be of use to all of us here.

It's hard to learn much about computing technologies if all you do is act on the opinions of others. There's no substitute for first-hand exposure, and you've the luxury of the educational environment, rather than the need to put food on the table as a result of your work.
