Even a method in which to debug the problem would be useful. In fact, running the EXACT command from the command line after a SUSPEND on the error, runs correctly. It has been extremely ifficult to duplicate the problem on demand. The parameters being passed into the function check out fine. Any and all help will be appreciated.

I don't have a resolution to the error but you should be able to trap the error with an on error handler and issue a retry to patch around the problem.
