Just my personal opinion.
There is nothing like 4 years at the university. At the end you will not be disappointed with what you learn there. Be sure to give your max from the first semester to the last one.
The kind of stuff that you learn at the university is so wide that sometimes you will feel that you are loosing your time learning "how a butterfly can make changes in the weather". But 2 or 3 years later you will find that most of what you learnt there is worthed - one way or another.
When I was at the university I thought "these guys are crazy trying to teach me how to use SQL sentences when I can do better thinks with Clipper". Now, 5 year letter Clipper is not anymore in the market and I am using SQL sentences in VFP, VB, VC.
