These are views. I realized by cutting this code out, the ON ERROR routine will still fire. I can use AERROR within ON ERROR.
My next issue is after I delete a record, in a view, then add the record back - I get a trigger failure because of a candidate key violation. Views don't show deleted records and of course the RI Code doesn't recognize deleted records so not to allow duplicates. Thats Great, but the user wants to add the record back - I guess I'll have to run a select, see if it is deleted, get primary key, seek the value in the table, recall, then requery view. Whew!
