Also note that VFP 5.0 includes the new Application Wizard. My general impression is that these products came into existence because of shortcomings in earlier versions of FoxPro. They seem to have lost some steam in keeping up with VFP 5.0, judging from the reduced level of promotion I've seen lately. This is only a guess, since I have very little direct experience with any of them. Years ago I looked at Tom Rettig's Office, but I wasn't satisfied with that. I actually went and built my own framework, which evolved through FoxPro 2.6, VFP 3.0, and VFP 3.0b. After playing with VFP 5.0 for a while, I decided to start all over again from scratch, a decision that I don't regret. I was carrying a huge amount of baggage, workarounds, kludges, etc. I would think that any framework that got its start before VFP 3.0b would be due for a serious overhaul.
