What crashes is the application. I get a page fault error. One reads (roughly trnaslated from Italian):

MSMIN has caused a page fault error in module SHELL32.DLL followed by a memory dump

Other programs give the same error but with module unknown.

Yes, the program is correctly installed. It runs properly on its own.
