>>Hello,

>Can't help I'm afraid, but I'm glad you raised the issue - I can't even find the html help generator that sposed to come with vfp! Where is it? I can't remember the filename mention in the MSDN help (something like htmlhelp.exe?) but I searched my entire hard disks and the foxpro cds and couldn't find it anywhere, so in managing to create the html help you're already one up on me!

Hi Harry,
Sorry to tell you that I didn't hear anything from built-in html generator in FoxPro. I created my help with Doc-To-Help, and it works very fine, especially if you're used in working with Word.
By the way, I found the mystery about the not working help in FoxPro: It is described in the article Q194196 on the Microsoft online support site. The cause is, that the Setup Wizard does not copy either the Foxhelp.exe or the Foxhhelpps.dll file when you select ENGINE in step 2 of the Setup Wizard.
Microsoft has confirmed this to be a bug in Visual FoxPro 6.0. This bug has been fixed in the updated version of the Setup Wizard VFP6swiz.exe dated 10/08/1998 corrected in Visual Studio 6.0 Service Pack3.
