Well, this sounds promising. Right now, everything seems to be optimized well and using Rushmoore to it's fullest extent. However, I always thought that a DBF when "USED" either explicitly or implicitly (opening a view, etc.) that the entire table is transmitted across the wire. Since I am using local views, there is still an implicit USE being performed on the "backend" DBF, correct? (If I look at the datasession, the table is opened along with the View)
The overall difficulty with moving to SQL is that I have date fields that may be empty (which is not handled well by SQL), some data types (numeric, date only, etc.) do not directly translate. All of my direct SELECT syntax (which I use heavily for reporting purposes) must be converted to pass through SQL, etc., etc. It still seems like a LOT more work than just creating remote views to replace the local views.

Thanks for the replies.
