>Thanks for your reply. We have other systems still running on DOS that have no problem. RAM actually might be a problem with this particular system. Is there any way to get an upgrade to 2.6a. I wouldn't know where to start looking.

I recently posted a list of files from M$ for that patch. Try their website. I can probably dig out the disks (if I still have them) and send to you -- which since it was a free update is probably okay. Best bet is to start with the M# website.
