Install the Windows Scripting Host on the system. You can download the latest self-installing executable from msdn.microsoft.com/scripting; if the system does not have DCOM installed, and is at least running with Win95 Service Pack 1 (original retail Win95 without any patches needs to have the service pack installed at a minimum, followed by DCOM95); NT Systems must have at least NT SP3 installed (current is SP5, and there are already subsequent hotfixes for a number of things as well.) Win98 and Win2K already have WSH installed, as does any system that already has IE 4 or later in place.
