Mine works ok Win98. I only have a problem on one computer that has a 3D card and Win98 (Second Edition). I did have to install the patch found at http://support.microsoft.com/support/kb/articles/q186/8/34.asp

Have you done this yet? It solved the problem that was due to the fast processor.
