Hi Paul,

>I'm using the same process. I cut and paste from the output of gendbcx.prg to make programs that create my view. However I'm finding it a pain to keep track of the programs that create my views. How are you handling the code to create for views?

When I make changes via GenDbcX, I just update the output of GenDbcX and run the program (in the data directory) passing the procedure name as the parameter. When I first tried this, I got an error (I don't remember what). I modified GenDbcX to use macro substitution instead of an evaluate. I sent an E-Mail to Steve Arnott at the time, but didn't hear back.

Since I maintain common views for 2 applications in both VFP and SQL Server, this has proved to be the quickest method for certain changes. It just depends on the task...
