I am having trouble with the fontmetrics command. On several PCs it seems to give me results twice as large as others for the average and maximum font widths. This is happening on Win98 PCs with SIS graphics cards, have not seen it anywhere else. I use twice the average plus the maximum divided by 3 to size the columns in grids. it has worked great up till now.
