You could build a specific application that runs on NT server (in VFP) that could act as a database. A tool like web connection from www.west-wind.com allows you to do something like this over the internet. Depending on what you want are doing this may more work than it is worth. You could eat up thousands of dollars of people time trying to re-create the wheel. The wheel being SQL Server, Oracle or another back-end database.
