But how can we export the vfp6 report (with all the bold, fonts, etc...) in a rich-text format? If I save it to ascii and then load it from the rich-text active-x control I would already have lost all the fonts and bold and...?

There is no direct way, but if your report is small (e.g. one page) then you may give your user its representaion within RTF box (like preview) and then save it to file.
