Just insert a report Picture/OLE Bound control. Double click on the object to bring up its options dialog, and select Picture From File. Enter an expression that yields the path to a .BMP file. Don't click on the ... button, because that will go into the Open image file dialog (not the expression builder, as one might expect). You can enter an arbitrary expression directly in the text entry field, however.
