I have apparently been running into some limits on the size of local updatable views. My views update fine as long as not too much data is entered. However, after data is entered in about 30 character fields with an average length of about 20, I get an "SQL Statement too Long" error.

I can increase the amount of data updatable by forcing the changes or changing the wheretype clause of my views. However, these methods are not acceptable to my customer.

What are the actual limits on the size of a view? Do I need to divide my views? Any other ideas?
