My application is giving me a numeric data overflow error after we've just processed a new run of data.

It appears to be placing funny characters in one of the
fields - llllllllllllllllll

This is a character (60) field.

Does anybody know what could be causing this error?

How can I replace this with blanks when I don't know what it represents?

Any input would be appreciated.
