Hi Sheena,
The error is probably caused by the receiving numeric field being too small. For example, if the receiving field is defined as n(3) and the value is more than 999, you will get the overflow. Also, if you trying to store the result of a divide by zero, you will probably get this error.
If this doesn't help, please post the exact command that is causing the overflow.
