I think that I said that I understand and accept that it errors. I'm only pointing out (as you well know I am wont to do) that the documentation leads one clearly to a different expectation. Those who do not have the benefit of UT or similar services, and I remind you that that is the vast vast vast majority of VFP programmers, have a frustrating fight on their hands for no legitimate reason. Some of these will drop VFP after concluding that it simply doesn't work 'as advertised'.
