Maybe you can. I just tried to do the same and after some unsuccessful attempts hit the hole with mailmerge to new file. The actual reason was that I could not find description of parameter values to Mailmerge.Execute method and started to send random values. After I accidentally merged to new file and was pleased with results, I just had to explain to client that it's much better to print from intermediatery document, because user may have last opportunity to change something on fly.
