There are severla approaches, given that you're running under DOS. The first and most obvious one is to buy a print spooler for DOS; there was a product called 'PrintQ' a few years ago that did a reasonably nice job, and if it's still around, should be fairly cheap.

A second approach would be to print to a file rather than directly to the printer, and then use the DOS PRINT command to print the file; PRINT will serve as a primitive spooler, allowing you to specify multiple files to send to the printer. Check your DOS manual for details.
