I've built an vfp5.0 app, and installed it via netsetup on an NT server. Codepage in config.fpw is 1250, all the scx/vcx/dbf/dbc and other files are marked with codepage 1250, and the specific characters appear regularly when the app runs from a W98/95 workstation. Only on the server it runs as if it was 1252, regardless of the app itself thinking it's in 1250 (saw that by deliberately causing an error and looked at the saved output of Display Status).

I guess it's something in the fonts on the NT, and the way VFP is using them. Office apps using the same fonts have no problem - the proper diacriticals show up. Does anyone know of a good old Indian trick for this?
