To All;

I have a pageframe with several pages, and on page3 I have put a helpcontextID for the page, and on some fields also. I also have helpcontextID on the form itself.

Looking in the manual, it says if the object does not have a helpcontextID, then it defaults to help contents. What I want to be able to do is to have the program travel up the tree of objects/classes... for example, if i'm on an object with no helpcontextID, then see if the container for that object has one (in this case, the page), and if not, then the container's parent (in this case the form), and so on. It appears that foxpro does not do this automatically, unless I am missing something.

has anyone written a little routine to do this or knows how to accomplish it?
